Nothing better than having this view just a few steps away from your door.

This boat is actually damaged, sunk from a heavy storm the night before. I have never experienced such a strong storm - reminded me of the sandstorm in Morocco.

Several boats were damaged but the resorts were all ok.

I was in Singapore over the weekend – for a wedding. Haven’t been there for almost 2 years.

Quite frankly, Singapore is not really my favorite destination but I had to be there for a wedding – an invitation I could not escape. I had to drag my feet!

The wedding was small and quite intimate. Only family and very close friends. I was honored to be invited. It’s like a reunion of a big family and a bunch of close friends and business friends.

Wedding is not really my forte – I seldom do weddings – I only do family and close friends wedding – Gratis. This is one of those.

Overall, it was a good trip. I got to know my friend’s family better, great catching up with old friends and made some new ones.

Before leaving for the airport, I had a couple of hours to kill hence an intense 3 hours retails therapy. Great Singapore sale was not bad. I think I over indulged myself. I shall not shop until next year.

I encounter this behavior almost every other day.

This one was on Jalan Maarof.

Why can't they stop outside the yellow box? Why???

Thats why sometimes I couldn't care less when I see accidents involving motorcyclists - they are ask for it.
These are my 2 nephews, enjoying their school holidays in KL. We went to watch X-Men and then spent some times in the arcades.

It is a lot of responsibility to keep an eye on the kids. I don't know how you guys do it.

We had a great time though. Of course lotsa food in between.

Sambal Hijau is a popular road side restaiurant located in Kampung Sungai Penchala, at the edge of TTDI.

One of my favorite nasi joints. They serve delicious nasi padang.

I ate like a pig over the weekend. Have not been there in ages.

These are the desserts I had and I am officially FAT.

Above are, tapai pulut, sup sum sum, pulut with pengat durian and creme caramel.
I bumped into this beauty while having coffee with my good friends in Desa Sri Hartamas over the weekend.

It is such a beauty.

I feel like riding it and pretend as if I were in Italy.

Vespa 4 ever!

Yesterday I drove max 110km/h all the way to Kuantan.

3 cars overtook me while I was driving uphill approaching Genting Sempah tunnel. That stretch is very dangerous, both to ascend and descend.

A few minutes later I saw those 3 cars again, only this time, one was stopped on the fast lane, another one was parked on the emergency lane and the last car - crashed by hitting a divider.

I even drove max 110km/h on the back to KL today.

Its scary. It could happen to me too.

I don't normally wear office attire anymore. I dress casually most of the time, unless there is a board meeting or meeting with the officials.

I normally get this questions from people who I bumped into during working days : “cuti ke”.

Today was especially bad.

I was in Kuantan and I forgot to bring my dressed shoes for my appointments with the officials. Luckily my gym bag was in the car so I wore my running shoes for my appointments.

Gila!

Ambience @ 1 Mont' Kiara

I was recently commissioned to photograph Ambiance - a very nice shop that carries antiques and objet d'art.

A good experience.

The official opening was also my debut solo exhibition which response (both to the opening as well as the exhibition) was really good.

Jim Moore, a friend of mine, a Scottish entrepreneur who has been residing in Malaysia for decades.

This is one is of the hundreds, if not thousands, of beautiful work of art and ornate crafts available for sale.

Each time I go to Jim's shop I will surely get something - it could be a souvenir for a friend from Jakarta, or a set of coaster etc.

This particular pot was not a head-turner when I was doing the shooting. During editing I realized how beautiful the object is, and so the photography ;-).

Good stuff, I thought.
