My favorite Thai desserts

Without fail, I will have this for dessert in Bangkok.

They are just - delicious!!

Brondong on Tee

Found this at the entrance of Chatuchak market.

I was crazy.

I don't really like Chatuchak market. Too big, too many people, too hot.

We couldn't even find "you are here" point on the map.

My only reason to be there was to look for the cutlery set similar to those used in my hotel.

They are made of brass, matte finish.

Couldn't find it - Dang!

Are we better or no?

I have been traveling the region for work and leisure for the past 15 years.

Before, when I arrived at KLIA or Subang Airport, I would say to myself – God, its good to be home.

Now, I still say that to myself upon my return from regional trips – only when I reach my home and sink myself in my bed – NOT at the airport.

The minute I touched down, my brain start listing on comparing KLIA and Suvarnabhumi, the staff, the luggage handler, the immigration officers, the health officers, the taxi drivers.

Trust me, the Thais do it better.

We, Malaysians are drifting, still thinking we are one of the best in the region –

I don’t think so.

Not quite a positive note for new year but seriously, we have to do something or we will be left behind in many aspects of economic development.
