This was shot in Pulau Kambing, Kuala Terengganu. Despite its name, Pulau Kambing is not an island. It an area not far from the "bandar" but has been the fishing hub in Kuala Terengganu.
Catch of the day is off loaded here for mainly local market.
In case you are wondering, the budu and the keropok lekor could be made from fish off loaded here.

Krabi Food Heaven
The Thais are very enterprising and quite creative too when it comes to foo. I always enjoy Thai food. I even took cooking lesson at the prestigious Blue Elephant cooking school.
I shot this one in Krabi - a nice little town, a lot tamer than Phuket - which I certainly prefer.

Sunset-tan, Gili Trawangan
I enjoy the beach.
Every where I go, I make a point to watch the sunsets and the sunrises.
Its magical moments to me.
They only last several minutes in 24 hours. Very rare minutes and should be appreciated.
Golden hour, or magical hour - Only the first and last hour of sunlight during the day.
Wherever you are, in Gili Trawangan or Kuantan or Dungun or Pulau Kapas, or the hot dessert of the ARab Emirates or the freezing Himalayas - wake up early. Its a waste to miss it.
Its a good time to reflect, and to chill.

Nenasi, Pahang
Whenever I travel from Rompin back to Kuantan, I always make a point to stop at this little fishing village in the East Coast Pahang.
Very quaint and quiet.
Always beautiful.
Recently I passed by it again.
I stopped, shot a few photos by my I Phone and
have RM1 of keropok lekor. (quite delicious)
NICE

For the show in Big Apple
These images were printed as posters and displayed in New York during a trade mission by my client.
The look yummy.
These are all frozen food for export purposes.
I worked closely with the chef to style these products. Very long hours required but fun nevertheless.
