World Down Syndrome Day

A message from a happy mother, hence a happy photographer.

Hello dear M.

The photo's are beyond gorgeous. Every piece melts my heart. All parents are ecstatic. Congratulations. I hope the press will also feature the pics. I'm sorry you weren't able to join us today esp to see the delighted faces of parents upon seeing the amazing photo's of their children. So many of them got wind that the photographer is my friend and asked me to thank you for yr contribution.

MasyaAllah.

Let's catch up soon.

Take care.

Thanks again for celebrating the World Down Syndrome Day with us.

Home Studio

I have always wanted this for my home studio. I finally got it.
Four backdrops capacity. Only grey and black now. White and green is out of stock.

It makes my studio looks neater and more organized.

Majestic view on March 16th 2012

One of the birthday treats I got this year is to tour KLCC, the tallest twin tower in the world, the sky bridge and the 86th floor of Tower 2.

Menara Kuala Lumpur is dwarfed.
The view is just amazing.
I posted it on Facebook, naturally. And caught significant attention form my friends, far and near.
I do not agree with everything Dr M did but KLCC, among others, is such a visionary development - an ability not any other Malaysia leaders’ have.

Nobody.
This is the pride of the nation.
A friend in Germany missed home when she saw this in Facebook.

I love Kuala Lumpur, I love Malaysia.

Happy Birthday to ME

Last year my birthday was a very memorable one. I was on the highest peak in South East Asia, watching the sun to rise on my very birthday.

With a bunch of wonderful friends we conquered the peak, together and the descends via Via Ferrata was out of this world. I was overwhelmed with all the blessing God has given me in my entire life.
ALHAMDULILLAH.
Oh well, it al about ME ME ME
This year I don’t want to get gift. In fact I want to give.
I have volunteered to photographs portraits of down syndrome at Kiwanis Foundation.
Just a little contribution for the community. Quite frankly I have not done enough and always forget to contribute.

Thank you Juju for reminding me since the past 2 years. We finally sat down, discussed and shot beautiful portraits of the lovely down syndrome kids.

It was a fun 2 day exercise and the products are being framed to be display during the open day of Kiwanis Foundation during World Down Syndrome Day on the 21st of March 2012 (next week).

I hope they like the photos.

A fisherman

This was shot in Pulau Kambing, Kuala Terengganu. Despite its name, Pulau Kambing is not an island. It an area not far from the "bandar" but has been the fishing hub in Kuala Terengganu.

Catch of the day is off loaded here for mainly local market.

In case you are wondering, the budu and the keropok lekor could be made from fish off loaded here.

Tioman and Havaianas

I lost this fav pair of Havaianas during this trip.. :-(

Krabi Food Heaven

The Thais are very enterprising and quite creative too when it comes to foo. I always enjoy Thai food. I even took cooking lesson at the prestigious Blue Elephant cooking school.

I shot this one in Krabi - a nice little town, a lot tamer than Phuket - which I certainly prefer.

Masjid Kristal

All you need is a good spirit. Very early in the morning spirit, a DSLR, and a tripod.
and Voila!

These are my nephews, shot during Hari Raya, a couple of years ago.
