PEGORETTI

Total custom.

It's the sprit of steel and bicycle.

I have to write an essay about myself and mail it to Mr. Dario PEGORETTI. He will interpret it and present it in a beautiful art form on my frame. Of course the dimension of my body is a form one has to fill up, separately.

I can only appreciate it after riding more than 10 years. How alive a steel frame can be. Rider and bicycle is ONE.

Relatively heavier than Alu and carbon. Not much heavier than the Titanium. However, in a very long ride (not fast) can be like BUTTER! Face with stuck-out tongue and tightly-closed eyes

After reading this you will want to order one immediately...
coz normally you have to wait for 18 months to get ONE completed.

Langat Solo Ride

Dr K and I promise to ride together but he chickened out last minute. Instead he went riding in Putrajaya. I love Langat so rode Langat by myslef - solo ride.

I think I was faster than my average speed - because I am a few kilo less due to the hike to EBC last year and I have been runnning regularly in the morning. I love it

I kind of like solo ride sometimes. I ride at my own pace, competing with myself. Besides I hate to promise my friends to ride with them and I ended up didn't turn up because of late nights and birthday parties and weddings.

Today was good. It drizzled when I got there but it stopped after I had my nasi lemak bungkus breakfast - with half boiled eggs (ayam kampung)

My "new" Bike

I have more than one bikes.

Yes they are old but they are still in very good conditions. I maintain them well, with love and affections.

The Trek was actually the replica of the Lance Armstrong's USPS Team Bike.

The stickers peeled due to aging and various mode of transporting back and forth, to and from the trail heads.

Recently restored, minimalistic look adopted with my signature on it.

The act of sticking my signature on the frame can be quite sadistic right?

Who cares.

I LOVE my "new" bike.

VOILA!

Now, how much is a pair of carbon fibre wheels...
hmmmmmm.... I wonder....
