Happy New Year 2014
I decided to celebrate new year right here in KL.
Partly because I just got back from a holiday, so the budget isn't there.
Besides most of my close friends are scattered all over.
It was very nice. A great view from Strato, Troika.
We had a great view. The fireworks was quite a disappointment. Its like just fireworks without any theme and fancy light show.
Still nice, nevertheless.
They should try to shoot the fireworks from the KLCC towers. Like what they do on The Burj in Dubai.

Spotted
Spotted this in Publika.
Different interpretation of the word, the name of the Almighty.
I like it. Hence, it deserves a space here.

My KL
I shot this with my IPhone when I was walking around with ZK trying to decide where to have lunch in Publika.
I am beginning to like this Publika place. It matures quite gracefully.
KL is beautiful.

Bijan, Kuala Lumpur
I have to select images to be sent to my web develop. Yes, my website is coming up. It has been a while, I have been working on it a bit slowly.
Too much distractions.
These were shot in a nice restaurant in Bijan, Kuala Lumpur.
Bijan is one of my favorite restaurants especially when I want my guests from abroad to test their pellet against our Malay cuisines, in a very subtle way, yet with a choice to go all the way to local level spiciness.
Pedas la juga.

Kuala Lumpur City Center - 15 seconds exposure
I was bored after dinner. The weather was perfect, in fact it was rather cold on the way back.
I reached KLCC almost midnight.
Before I managed to set up the tripod he lights were off. So it’s kind of a dark (KLCC) subject.
I like the moon and the thin cloud formation.

SEK YUAN RESTAURANT ON JALAN PUDU
Really old school - Art Deco architecture.
It was THE restaurant during its younger days.
I don't think it has changed much since they open it. It is an institution in Jalan Pudu community, still highly patronized.

The entrance

SEMALAM DI KUALA LUMPUR
I decided not to join my family to celebrate Aidil Adha this year. Most of them (not all) are congregating in Lumut, Perak. My sister lives there.

With speed priority for 15 seconds, I got this:
Suggestion to the management of KLCC - you guys should switch off the lights LATER during holidays and celebration - Hari Raya, Chineses New Year, Deepavali, Christmas, New Year of during Formula 1 week.
Its our icon.
